Finding My Bank's Routing Number
This article covers how you can locate your bank institution’s routing number. The routing number is an essential piece to connect your bank account to Clearco. As you grow your banking portfolio, the time may come to connect new bank accounts to Clearco as well.
A routing number is a combination of a transit number, also known as a branch number, and a financial institution number.
You can locate the routing number in three ways:
Locate the routing number on a void cheque
An easy way to locate a routing number is on a void cheque. You will see three sets of numbers, which you can see in the example below. The routing number is typically the first set of numbers:
Locate the routing number through online banking
To locate the routing number on your online banking platform, navigate to the account details (this is typically in the form of clicking the bank account link) for the specific account or a debit authorization form, as seen in the example below:
